Yes, I know, I am a sappy patriot. I’m writing my column this week to remind you why your vote is your voice and your voice is a critically important strain in the beautiful, and sometimes messy, cacophony of democracy.


But it has to do with leadership too, especially in a year when more women than ever are running for office. Read on and  tell me what you think. How do you see yourself in this picture?

    Take The Lead hosts a special matinee performance and discussion with Gloria Steinem of the compelling new play,
    "Gloria: A Life" at the Daryl Roth Theater in New York City.
